The Language Center offers a variety of tutoring programs during the Academic Year (September-May) including Foreign Language Tutoring (in the majority of languages taught at GW), English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Writing and Conversation Support, and an online chat program for EAP writing support. Students using the tutoring services must be currently enrolled as a GW student but do not have to be enrolled in EAP or language classes. For one-on-one tutoring sessions, students must come prepared with their own materials (e.g. a copy of their assignment). All tutoring services are free of charge. For more information about each of these programs, please check the links below.
Please be aware that Foreign Language Tutoring will be undergoing significant changes throughout the coming year. Please visit the pages below to learn about new procedures and locations, and check back frequently to stay up-to-date on the latest changes. The EAP Writing Support Program will operate as usual, although the location has changed to Phillips 216C.
